PRE-SESSION

Please check your email for updates leading up to the session(s) you will be facilitating.
Download the latest updates for Zoom on the device you will use to host the session.
You will be provided Alternative Host access to the Zoom link.
If you are facilitating a panel, view the schedule (click here) to review the planning document for your session. Please feel free to customize the prepared scripts and questions to your style as a facilitator.
If you are facilitating a lecture, view the schedule (click here) to reach out to your presenter to see what assistance they might need.
Review our Community Guidelines regarding appropriate behavior in our sessions. If any participant behaves in a way that violates these guidelines, please remove them from the room.

DAY OF SESSION

We recommend joining the Zoom session with the presenter(s) ten minutes before the start time to test video and audio.
Double-check to ensure you have co-host abilities to assist with admitting attendees throughout the session.
Open the planning document for your session from the schedule (click here) to access the script and questions for the panel (if applicable).
- Monitor the peak number of attendees throughout the session. Input the highest number into the "Headcount" field for the session in the schedule.
Keep track of questions in the chat and assist the presenters with ensuring questions are addressed at the end of the session (if time allows).
At the end of the session, please thank the presenter(s) for sharing their stories and participants for supporting the session and series. You will then paste the below info into the chat, encouraging them to fill out the evaluation and to check out other sessions in the program.
